Deep Dive Album Covers

Year: 2023

These are two album covers I was commissioned to create for the up and coming band - DEEP DIVE.

Sunburnt

For Deep Dive’s debut album Sunburnt, I created a digitally illustrated cover that captures the album’s beachy, festival-inspired vibe. The artwork features a small tropical island with a single palm tree, against which an electric guitar leans, hinting at the laid-back, rock-infused style of their music. Below the island’s surface, a colorful coral reef unfolds, adding depth and vibrancy, mirroring the energy and variety found in their sound. The entire cover, including the band’s name and album title, was digitally illustrated to maintain a seamless, polished look that balances the casual beach theme with an adventurous festival feel, setting the perfect tone for Sunburnt.

Don’t Call Him That

For Deep Dive’s album Don’t Call Him That, the cover design shifts to a dark, moody aesthetic that contrasts sharply with their previous work. The cover features a stark image of the moon centered against a deep, shadowed background, creating a sense of mystery and introspection. The album title, Don’t Call Him That, is displayed boldly at the top in sharp, white lettering, conveying an intensity that matches the album's tone. The band's name appears subtly at the bottom in a thin, precise font, maintaining the minimalistic yet impactful style. To add texture and depth, I included repetitions of Don’t Call Him That in small font in the top-left corner, creating a layered effect that subtly echoes the album’s themes. This restrained design emphasizes both the simplicity and depth of the music, aligning with the darker, more contemplative nature of Don’t Call Him That
